500 job seekers attend NCK Career Expo
16th October 2008
More than 500 job seekers took part Wednesday in the 2008 Career Expo on Mohave Community College’s Neal Campus-Kingman. The event was designed to bring job seekers together with Mohave County businesses looking to hire. Job seekers were on campus early and a steady stream of residents attended the event, the second of three to be held on MCC’s campuses. Henry Campus-Bullhead City held its Expo on Tuesday and the Lake Havasu City campus will hold its Expo on Nov. 6. The Expos are a joint effort by MCC and Arizona Workforce Connection partners including Arizona Department of Economic Security Job Services, Mohave County One-Stop Career Centers, REPAC and area chambers of commerce. Above, Zen Mocarski of the Arizona Game & Fish Department speaks with potential career seekers during the event in which 26 businesses took part.
