Auto Collision Repair program being featured at MCC library
19th November 2009
Visitors to the Hargrove Library on Mohave Community College’s Bullhead City campus will get the information they came for and a little something extra for the remainder of the fall semester.
The Library is hosting a display to highlight MCC’s Auto Collision Repair program, which is enrolling now for spring semester. The program prepares students to test for the Inter-Industry Conference on Auto Repair (IICAR) certification and employment in the field.
“This is a wonderful program, and hopefully the display will inspire people with an interest in the automotive field to take the initial steps into a new and rewarding career,” said Steve Irving, librarian for the Bullhead City campus.
“We feel it’s important that the library take the time to highlight some of the many facets of MCC,” he said.
“The library is open to the public as well as students. Everyone is invited to come down and browse our selection of books. We also have class schedules for the spring semester readily available to the public,” Irving added.
The MCC library is also available 24/7 online. Personnel at the library issue library cards and provide information on accessing the online resources.
