Dates set for GED testing at MCC-LHC

 The General Educational Development (GED) test for the equivalent for a high school diploma will be held on the Lake Havasu City campus of Mohave Community College on Feb. 2 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
 
Mandatory registration for the test is Feb.1 at 5 p.m. in Room 203 on the campus, 1977 W. Acoma Blvd. The test is limited to the first 20 people who register.
The cost to take the test is $65 - cash, or money order - payable at registration. Retaking any section of the exam costs $15 per test.
 
People taking the test must present two forms of identification and one has to be an official ID with a photo (valid driver’s license, passport, or state I.D. card). Anyone under 18 must provide a notarized statement from a parent or guardian giving them permission to take the exam and an official withdrawal slip from the last high school attended. Those wishing to take the test must be at least 16 years old.
