Goodrich named as national accreditation evaluator

Dr. Robert Goodrich, director of the Surgical Technology program at Mohave Community College, has been appointed as an on-site evaluator/site visitor for the Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
The ARC/STSA is the only accreditation committee for programs in surgical technology and surgical assisting recognized by the Council on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs.
Goodrich said he was chosen for the appointment, which was approved at a September meeting of the ARC/STSA’s board of directors, through a national selection process.
“This is a huge honor for me,” Goodrich said.
Goodrich’s first assignment as on-site evaluator will be two random site visits scheduled for December.
