HCB Library to host genealogical society & talk of area ghost towns

Don Plantz, Ph.D. will speak March 8 in Bullhead City on “Ghost Towns along the Colorado River”“Talking Loudly in the Library,” a monthly public forum featuring areas of local interest, will be held March 8 with a brief meeting of the hosting Tri-State Genealogical Society and a talk on “Ghost Towns Along the Colorado River.” The event will run from 10 a.m. to noon in the Dan and Sara Hargrove Library on Mohave Community College’s Henry Campus - Bullhead

 City, and the public is invited. The campus is located at 3400 Highway 95.The event will begin with a short business meeting of the Tri-State Genealogical Society. At 11 a.m., Don Plantz, Ph.D., of the MCC science department will address “Ghost Towns Along the Colorado River.”

The event is free and open to the public, and coffee will be served.
