HCB Phi Theta Kappa raises funds with Kiss the Kritter
9th April 2009
Michele Bogue, left, a faculty instructor on Mohave Community College’s Henry Campus-Bullhead City, kisses Wilbur the guinea pig, held by Phi Theta Kappa member Alejandra Barrios, right, as part of the “Kiss the Kritter” fund-raiser put on by the Alpha Chi Psi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges. Funds raised during Spirit Week - March 30 to April 3 - help pay for leadership conference expenses for chapter members. Faculty members chosen by their students received money cans to raise funds, allowing the chosen instructor to either “Kiss the Kritter” or designate a fellow co-worker to kiss Wilbur on their behalf.
