LHC GED testing set for September

The General Educational Development, or GED, test will be offered in Room 203C at the Lake Havasu City campus of Mohave Community College Sept. 5 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The GED is the equivalent of a high school diploma.
Mandatory registration will take place Sept. 4 at 5 p.m. in Room 203 on the campus at 1977 W. Acoma Blvd. Testing is limited to the first 20 who register.
The cost to take the test is $65 payable by cash or money order at the time of registration. Individual sections of the exam may be retaken at a cost of $15 per section.
Those registering for the GED test must present two forms of identification, including one official photo ID such as a valid driver’s license, passport or state identification card. Test takers under age 18 must provide a notarized statement from a parent or guardian giving them permission to take the exam and an official withdrawal slip from the last high school attended. Test takers must be at least 16 years old.
