MC4 sets LAN video game event and toy drive
19th November 2008
The Mohave Community College Computer Club (MC4) will hold a local-area network (LAN) video game event and toy drive open to the public on (Saturday) Dec. 13 on the Kingman and Bullhead City campuses.
The event runs from 5 to 10 p.m. at the computer centers (Building 500) on each of the campuses. Participants will utilize the computer games Halo, Unreal Tournament and Battlefield 2, and they will compete against players on the other campus. Players may also bring their own Xbox 360s to play Halo 3.
Participants are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. If they want pizza and soft drinks at the event, they are asked to make a $6 donation. The pizza is free to those who bring a toy.
If a participant is under 18 years, he or she will need a completed parent permission slip, available at the MC4 website: http://www.mohave.edu/pages/1128.asp.
