MCC donates book display to LHC charter school

Wendi Birkhead, left, operations specialist at Mohave Community College’s Hodel Library on the Lake Havasu City campus, and Fatima Mu, right, a teacher at Lake Havasu Charter School, watch as Terra Standal, below right, places books on the display that the MCC library donated for use in a classroom. The library also gave the school a 10-volume set of the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians that was withdrawn from the library reference collection. The libraries at all MCC campuses are open for public as well as student use from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
