More than 300 attend HCB Career Expo

More than 300 job seekers took part Tuesday in the 2008 Career Expo on Mohave Community College's Henry Campus-Bullhead City. The event was designed to bring job seekers together with Mohave County businesses looking to hire. A long line formed outside the 600 Building before the event started, and a steady stream of job seekers attended the event, the first of three to be held on MCC's campuses. Neal Campus-Kingman held its Expo on Wednesday and the Lake Havasu City campus will hold its Expo on Nov. 6. Neal Campus-Kingman held its Expo on Wednesday and the Lake Havasu City campus will hold its Expo on Nov. 6. The Expos are a joint effort by MCC and Arizona Workforce Connection partners including Arizona Department of Economic Security Job Services, Mohave County One-Stop Career Centers, REPAC and area chambers of commerce.
