NMC students on President’s, Honors lists

Nearly 790 students have been named to the President’s List or the Honors List for the Spring 2007 semester at Mohave Community College. Students eligible for the President’s List must have completed at least 12 semester hours in courses numbered 100 or above within the semester under consideration with a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. The 14 students on the North Mohave/Colorado City campus who were named to the Spring 2007 President’s List are: Alicia Pasi Andresen, Martha F. Barlow, Shem S. Barlow, Alberta K. Dockstader, Lisa A. Dockstader, Destiny R. Fancher, Ana L. Henderson, Crista L. Henderson, Daniel E. Knudson, Lisa Knudson, Tyler B. Steed, Jacqueline Timpson, Marie Timpson and Benjamin G. Williams.

Part-time students eligible for the Honors List must have accumulated 12 or more semester hours in courses numbered 100 or above. To qualify for the list, students must have completed between six and 11 credit hours in courses numbered 100-level or above, in the semester under consideration, with a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale.

The 38 students on the North Mohave/Colorado City campus named to the Spring 2007 Honors List are: Erin R. Anderson, Kahealani S. Baker, Charles J. Barlow, Fern S. Bateman, Janette  Blackmore, Katie N. Bourgoin, Rose H. Bradshaw, Julie F. Butler, Gilbert W. Cawley, Conni L. Custer, James M. Daly, Leyessa R. Dockstader, Tasha L. Dockstader, Ivy Duncan, Kevin A. Gleeson, Amanda M. Grover, Donna Rae Hammon, Robert Lyle Hicks, Celeste L. Hirschler, Amy Knudson, Jaclin Knudson, Dean L. Kurtz, Paige Marshall, Kristi L. Naylor, Lisa Orton, Erma I. Rainey, Felicia M. Redmond, Cori L. Saville, Melanie A. Sherrow, Sara Sivley, Cindi L. Steed, Jenna  Summerhays, Susanna R. Timpson, Susie Timpson, Melinda J. Visser,  Carrie A. Williams, Meagan A. Williams and Dorothy B. Zitting.

“It is great to see all 787 students excel academically,” said Dr. Michael Kearns, MCC’s vice chancellor of instruction. “The average student leads a very busy life, and it is gratifying to know that so many of them can accomplish so much. The entire MCC community congratulates these students for being named to one of these prestigious lists.”
