North Mohave MCC students on President’s, Honors lists

Nearly 650 students have been named to the President’s List or the Honors List for the Fall 2006 semester at Mohave Community College.

Students eligible for the President’s List must have completed at least 12 semester hours in courses numbered 100 or above within the semester under consideration with a semester grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale. 
 
The 12 students on the North Mohave/Colorado City campus who were named to the Fall 2006 President’s List are: Shem S. Barlow, Leyessa R. Dockstader, Christopher D. Duncan, Ron B. Henderson, Lisa Knudson, Jana Madsen, Jacqueline Timpson, Marie Timpson, Ruth Timpson, Susanna R Timpson, Melinda J. Visser and Carrie A. Williams

Part-time students eligible for the Honors List must have accumulated 12 or more semester hours in courses numbered 100 or above. To qualify for the list, students must have completed between six and 11 credit hours in courses numbered 100-level or above, in the semester under consideration, with a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale.

The 35 students on the North Mohave/Colorado City campus named to the Fall 2006 Honors List are: Chadly Ballard, Charles J. Barlow, Isaac B. Barlow, Eunice Bateman, Katie N. Bourgoin, Billy E. Bowden, Rose H. Bradshaw, Julie F. Butler, Ammon D. Carter, Alberta E. Costa, Mary I. Dalton, Alberta K. Dockstader, Bethany E. Dockstader, Ivy Duncan, Susan Erickson, Sarah Hammon, Celeste L. Hirschler, Amanda L. Kapcsos, Jaclin Knudson, Nancy Knudson, Lila D. Mackelprang, Kimberly R. Naylor, Kristi L. Naylor, Dianne Pipkin, Katrina C. Poulsen, Erma I. Rainey, Isaac D. Sand, Sarah L. Sand, Melanie A. Sherrow, Cindi L. Steed, Tyler B. Steed, Diana L. Thomas, Marsha C. Williams, Mary L. Williams, Meagan A. Williams.

“It is great to see all 646 students excel academically,” said Dr. Michael Kearns, MCC’s vice chancellor of instruction. “The average student leads a very busy life, and it is gratifying to know that so many of them can accomplish so much. The entire MCC community congratulates these students for being named to one of these prestigious lists.”
