Physical therapist assistant class well represented

8th July 2009

Wing’s visit was prompted by the class’s high rate of membership in the AzPTA. She told the class that state student membership averages about 25 percent in PT and PTA programs while the MCC class membership rate is 95 percent.  Wing stated, “Your faculty has been effective in role modeling the benefits of membership.” Physical therapist Rhonda Schnabl, middle row far right, director of the MCC program, was appreciative of Wing’s visit and said, “Our hope now is that the Class of 2010 can role model the benefits of membership to the Class of 2011.” The AzPTA is a component of the American Physical Therapy Association.
