Phi Theta Kappa honor society on MCC-BHC campus holds orientation for 22

Bernadette Gomez, standing left, president of Mohave Community College’s Bullhead City chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year colleges, offers orientation on Friday to 22 MCC students interested in joining. A candidate must have a 3.5 grade point average with at least 12 hours of associate degree course work completed. Phi Theta Kappa offers many opportunities for scholarships, intellectual enrichment and personal development following four basic tenets: scholarship, leadership, service and fellowship, and members are active in campus and community events.
