Social event spurs MCC Foundation membership

The Mohave Community College Foundation hosted a wine- and cheese-tasting event Thursday (Nov. 29) for members and potential members at Richard Knudson’s South Zion Executive Suites in Colorado City. Pictured left to right are: member Daunt Hammon, MCC Foundation Secretary Rebecca Fischer and Franklin Cawley pouring. The evening featured wines from France, Australia, Italy and the Napa Valley. Entertainment was provided by harpist Kathleen Whiteside. The MCC Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides scholarships for local students and supports the needs of the MCC campus in Colorado City.
