Winners named at MCC car show

 The winners were, front row from left: Tony Scott, winner of the President's Choice Award for best of show specialty vehicle; TNC Machine won the Vice Chancellors' Award for best of show race car, accepted by Chad Baker, who is also a former MCC welder; and Bob and Kathy Heron won the Chancellor's Choice Award for best of show among show cars. More than 60 vehicles took part in the auto show. The combined welding event and car show drew up to a thousand spectators to the MCC campus.Three best of show winners were awarded trophies Wednesday at the 2008 Welding Expo and Car Show sponsored by Mohave Community College and Praxair. The judges were, from left to right in the back row: MCC Vice Chancellor for Administration Lynn Cundiff, Neal Campus-Kingman President Mike Ford, MCC Chancellor Michael Kearns and Vice Chancellor of Instruction and Student Services Chuck Spotts.
